P2P investors pay great attention to the safety of funds

The P2P Conference was held for the first time and took place on June 7-8, 2019 in Latvia, Riga. It gathered investors, representatives of P2P platforms and industry experts from different countries. Participants discussed the role of advanced technologies in the business, application of scoring models and ensuring stability of loan originators, growth prospects of the platforms and other topics.

Speaking at the conference, the European P2P platform Robo.cash talked about priorities of P2P investors. According to the survey conducted by the platform, over time, their focus has switched from automation to safety of investments. As investors mainly use P2P platforms to ensure welfare for retirement or provide financial support to their children, they want to be confident in the safety of invested funds.
