P2P investors pay great attention to the safety of funds

On June 7-8, 2019 the European P2P platform Robo.cash took part in the P2P Conference in Riga. The platform shared its experience and told how the operation within the financial holding Robocash Group helps meet the expectations of investors.

The P2P Conference was held for the first time and took place on June 7-8, 2019 in Latvia, Riga. It gathered investors, representatives of P2P platforms and industry experts from different countries. Participants discussed the role of advanced technologies in the business, application of scoring models and ensuring stability of loan originators, growth prospects of the platforms and other topics.

Speaking at the conference, the European P2P platform Robo.cash talked about priorities of P2P investors. According to the survey conducted by the platform, over time, their focus has switched from automation to safety of investments. As investors mainly use P2P platforms to ensure welfare for retirement or provide financial support to their children, they want to be confident in the safety of invested funds.

The P2P platform Robo.cash pays much attention to this concern. Being a part of the international holding Robocash Group, it operates according to the “peer-to-portfolio” model and allows to invest only in loans issued by the affiliated companies of the group. All loans available on the platform are secured with a complete buyback guarantee provided by the integrated lending companies, which increases safety of investments.

However, automation still remains important.

“Robotic processes providing comfort for end users are a significant feature that Robo.cash has inherited from the group. At Robocash Group, automation and advanced digital technologies are in the DNA of our products. They increase efficiency and provide easy investing and simple access to the financial services of the group,” - commented Olga Davydova, Head of Media Relations who represented the platform at the conference.
