Robo.cash sums up the results of 2018
The European P2P platform Robo.cash has summed up the results of the past year. They demonstrate a growing interest in using the platform: the number of investors doubled compared to 2017, and the total volume of attracted investments reached €5 million.
In 2018, the P2P investment platform Robo.cash continued to expand its activities. Thus, it added 4 more loan originators and a new product - instalment loans. Now it is possible to invest in loans from Russia and the Philippines too. This allowed to finance over 680,000 loans for an overall amount of €58 million during the entire period of operation, and the total income of investors hit €530,000.
Last year, the platform also became available for investors from Switzerland. The total number of new investors in 2018 amounted to 3,200, which is twice as much as in 2017. Just as in 2017, the vast majority of investors came from Germany (56.8%). The next top five countries included Spain (7%), Portugal (4.6%), Austria (4.1%), Italy (2.4%) and Czech Republic (2.4%). By the end of 2018, the total volume of investments on the platform reached €5 million, which is 93% growth to the end of 2017.
“Today, the popularity of P2P lending is on the rise. According to the survey conducted by the platform last year, 52% of investors have been investing in P2P lending for less than a year and only 12% - for more than three years. This means that the number of new investors continues growing. At the same time, the survey showed that in 2018 investors’ priorities changed towards safe investments, while the year earlier they preferred automated services. This year, we are intended to increase the lending volumes of Robocash Group to meet the growing demand on the platform. We believe that this will enable us to provide more opportunities for investors on Robo.cash,” - commented Sergey Sedov, Chief Executive Officer of Robocash Group.
The fully automated investment platform Robo.cash started its operation in February 2017. It allows to invest in consumer loans issued by loan originators of Robocash Group in Spain, Russia, Kazakhstan and the Philippines with a complete buyback guarantee. An annual net return for investors is up to 12%.
