Video verification procedure: follow-up
Two months ago we announced the integration of video onboarding on Robo.cash. By implementing this improvement, we protect the platform and your funds from the possible identity theft issue and any illegal activities.
From April 20, new platform investors began to go through automatic identity verification. On June 7, we started to involve old clients in the procedure.
What should I do?
If you received an email asking you to pass the video verification, you need to log in your account and click on the “Verify your identity” button.
To pass the process successfully you can present one of these documents:
- national ID card
- residence permit
You will also need to pass the advanced liveness check. The check includes a biometric analysis of a person's facial movements that is compared with the photographs on the submitted documents. This is done to make sure that the person is actually present and that their documents belong to them.
What will happen if I don't pass the video verification process?
To comply with the requirements of the law, we need to keep your identification records up to date. Please pass the video verification as soon as possible. If you do not pass the verification, we might need to restrict your account soon.
I did not receive any email, should I also go through the verification procedure?
We are launching the process systematically. You will definitely receive a request to pass the video verification, if you have not received it yet.
